I just wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to nurse Joanne Myers, who stopped and helped me overcome my shock and injury during a car accident which happened on Wallisdown Road just before lunchtime on Sunday, November 16.
Joanne calmed me down and prevented me from having an asthma attack, she was just brilliant.
I would also like to thank Chris Howard, who spontaneously managed the traffic to help cause as little disruption as possible.
Such kindness should be appreciated and helps me realise there are some wonderful people about who are very quick to help in time of need. Another guy bought me a bottle of water and orange juice – thank you and sorry I didn’t get your name (he was only popping out to buy a paper) – thank you so much.
I’m now recovering from shock and inflammation and had to spend a few hours at A&E, but slowly on the mend.
