WHILE Bournemouth council’s regeneration efforts in Boscombe are much appreciated, the problem of empty shops continues to blight the area.
Over the years, hideous shop fronts have been built onto handsome Victorian residential buildings. I suggest that some of these properties could be converted back to housing, removing some of the retail surplus.
