I WOULD be extremely grateful to make contact with the kind lady who came to my assistance after I had an accident and rang the ambulance service, who were marvellous.
I came down Southill Road path at 5.30 pm last Friday. As it is so steep I always turn the mobility scooter very low as it rolls down.
It skidded on wet leaves and a wheel hit a piece of concrete left on the path and as I was on a slope it turned over with me hitting my head badly on a concrete edge to the steps. Blood was everywhere. It took me a week to get over the shock. The bruises are still here and I ache on my side.
I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the lady who came to my aid and the ambulance crew who attended.
