ENTERING Queens Park Avenue from Howard Road South by car has always been fairly hazardous.

The trees on the right block the view of traffic from Cooper Dean and we also have a halfway pedestrian crossing area right on the junction which is well used by children going to and from school.

Now an electricity company has erected a very large transformer structure on the left hand corner of the Avenue and Howard Road, right on the edge of the pavement, blocking the view of traffic in Queens Park Avenue coming from Fiveways.

With the increased traffic we have experienced in the last few years using Howard Road to avoid other congested areas, it really is an accident waiting to happen.
