At first, we were all against CCTV cameras with shouts of ‘Big Brother’.
Yet over the years they have proved themselves beneficiary as a welcome aid to not only protect people but also as a great advantage for the law to easily attend, prevent, arrest and convict offenders.
The footage exposes it all and the offenders are without doubt ‘Bang to Rights’.
Maybe it’s now time to move this on further.
Police cars almost internationally carry video cameras in their cars to record both front and rear. Many others are now turning to this form of protection like traffic wardens, cyclists etc.
How long will it be before every motorist installs similar cameras?
How long before every citizen carries their own personal camera on them to record every unsavoury moment that might befall them and if so, would it really be a bad or good thing?
