POOLE Town has further strengthened its board of directors with the appointment of Shaun Spencer-Perkins.
Spencer-Perkins is general manager at Poole Stadium and a well-known figure in local sporting circles.
Dolphins chairman Chris Reeves said: “This is a great appointment and will strengthen our off-field team immensely.
"Shaun has proved himself over the years to be a good friend of the club and has always shown a great interest in our progress.
"We have put our heads together on a few joint projects in recent times and, whenever we have needed help such as additional parking facilities, Shaun has always been there for us.
"For him to join the board is a logical progression of the relationship that has built up between us.
"He brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the operation of a sporting venue and his contacts and ideas will be invaluable.
"He is exactly the sort of character and personality that will fit in with the hard-working group that we are and I am very excited at the added value he will bring to the table.”
The appointment of Spencer-Perkins takes to eight the number of board members at the National South club.
Chairman Reeves is joined by Clive Robbins, Pippa Daniels, Steve Griffiths, Andy Noonan, David Reeves and Richard Gale.
