Cherries will field their development squad when they host Winchester City in the Hampshire Senior Cup tonight.

The League One outfit’s young prospects are set to be tasked with trying to help the club win the second round clash at Goldsands Stadium (7.45pm).

Cherries are offering hospitality packages for the match, which include seating in the executive area and a buffet. Prices are £17 for adults and £8 for under-12s.

Elsewhere in the county cup competition, Bashley entertain Newport (IOW). Fresh from their 7-0 thumping of crisis-hit Kettering on Saturday, Bash will be hoping to continue that sort of form.

Bash boss Frank Gray will have to make changes as midfielder Andrew Jenkinson and goalkeeper Stuart Moore, both on work experience from Reading, are ineligible.

  •  Wimborne Town have a goalkeeping headache ahead of their trip to Paulton Rovers.

The Southern League Division One South & West play-off contenders could see Dan Ackerman (dead leg) join Jason Harvell (groin) on the sidelines.

Harvell was injured in the warm-up for Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Cirencester, while replacement Ackerman sustained a knock during the clash.

Manager Steve Cuss could be forced to bring in a stand-in stopper ahead of the match (7.30pm).
