HAT-TRICK hero Rhys Honeybun led Canford Heathlands under-9s to a 6-3 win over Dorset Mini rivals Parkstone Heights at Baden Powell School.

It was the hosts, however, who took the lead on six minutes when Max Churchill latched on to a Kieran Evans pass to open the scoring.

Canford then took charge with two goals apiece from Josh Harding and Honeybun before Callum Ross converted a penalty to make the score 4-2 at the interval.

Parkstone narrowed the gap further when Edward Dimascio scored after a good passing movement with Nathan Laird.

But as Parkstone looked for an equaliser, Kyle Rook and Honeybun netted for Canford to seal the points.

Parkstone’s under-12s and under-16 Hawks, meanwhile, clinched their respective Dorset League titles.

The under-12s won the Division Three title with a 3-0 win over Sturminster Marshall, while the Hawks won the Division Two championship with a 4-0 win against Bournemouth Sports.
