BOSS Graham Kemp is vowing to give former Priory prospect Dan Loader the chance to prove himself following Stewart Kearn’s shock exit.

Experienced goalkeeper Kearn departed Hurn Bridge earlier this week when he joined Southern League outfit Bashley.

And manager Kemp will hand ex-Christchurch number one Loader the opportunity to fill the void – starting against local rivals Hamworthy United at the County Ground tomorrow (3pm).

Kemp told the Daily Echo: “Dan was with us before Stewart Kearn. He was a bright prospect until he broke his leg a month before he was going to go on trial with Aldershot.

“He is going to come in and I have promised him a chance.”

Hosts Hammers go into the game on the back of a six-match losing run, while high-flying Christchurch have drawn their past three games.
