TWO-times world under-21 world champion Emil Sayfutdinov and three-times senior winner Jason Crump will line up in Davey Watt’s testimonial at Poole.

Castle Cover Pirates’ captain has pulled off a major coup by attracting the two leading Grand Prix stars to feature in his benefit meeting on August 31.

The Australian international has been awarded the testimonial by the British Speedway Promoters’ Association after completing 10 years’ service to racing on these shores.

Watt, whose event will be an Australian ‘Roos versus the Rest of the World fixture, said: “It seems unreal Jason and Emil have agreed to come over to Poole because neither lines up regularly in Britain this year.

“Jason has been one of the top riders in the world for a long time and has had a huge impact on my career, while Emil is also a good friend of mine who I rode with in the same team in Sweden in 2007 and 2008.

“I couldn’t see him riding in Britain except in the Cardiff GP but when I asked him he didn’t hesitate to say he would come to Poole.

“I’m really grateful to Jason and Emil for agreeing to ride in my testimonial and I hope to have some more big name signings to follow.”
