WIMBORNE remained rooted to the bottom of South West One East after slumping to a 58-15 reverse against Buckingham.
Despite going in to the break just two points behind the home side, Wimborne failed to score in the second half as Buckingham racked up 41 unanswered points.
James Mikolajewski scored and converted a touchdown before half-time for All Blacks, while Richard Brokenshire was their other try-scorer.
• North Dorset claimed a morale-boosting win over third-placed Corsham in Southern Counties South.
After a low-scoring first half, the sides were level 3-3 at the interval after North scored through a Joe Micklewright penalty.
Peter Kennedy’s side were able to distance themselves in the second half with two tries from 17-year-old Charlie Jobling.
• Meanwhile, in South West One East, Oakmeadians were left slumped in the bottom three after losing 48-21 at high-flying Amersham & Chiltern.
