POPPIES boss Kenny Vaughan is hoping to bolster his side’s attacking resources.

His Premier Division outfit face a potential banana skin when they host unbeaten Division One leaders Downton in the Wessex League Cup quarter-final tonight (7.45pm).

Vaughan, who hopes to talk to a few undisclosed targets this week, said: “If we could get a couple of natural strikers in that would be ideal.

“But they’re few and far between, as we all know.”
