BOSS Kenny Vaughan will be looking for an immediate reaction when Poppies host Wessex League rivals Romsey Town at Victoria Park (7.45pm).

Defeat at Moneyfields on Saturday ended an impressive 13-match unbeaten league and cup run which had started in early October.

And Poppies, who will also be out to avenge a 2-1 defeat at Romsey in September, need to rediscover their form ahead of their big FA Vase clash at Willand Rovers.

New Milton Town are boosted by the return of Charlie Gajic, Liam Cresswell and Dan Pidgley for their derby with Brockenhurst at Fawcett’s Field (7.45pm).

The Linnets will be looking to complete a league double over the Badgers following their 2-1 win at Grigg Lane in August, while victory for Brock would see them leapfrog their near rivals.
