BOSS Steve Riley is urging his Bashley charges to use their FA Cup heroics as a springboard to help end their indifferent home form.

Bashley’s impressive midweek victory at Fleet in a second qualifying round replay was their third win in four games on the road.

In contrast, Riley’s men are still looking to break their duck in front of their own fans following two defeats and two draws in their opening four Southern League encounters.

Bash have an opportunity to get off the mark when they host Premier Division rivals Stourbridge tomorrow (3pm) before entertaining Chesham United on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Riley said: “We need to build on the Fleet display because we were excellent. Hopefully, it can set us up for the two league games and we can bury the ghost of our home form.

“We’ve defended really well this season and are creating enough chances. I know we can be solid and that needs to be the starting position. We need to ensure we are hard to beat and then the quality we showed at Fleet can shine through.”

Riley is hoping to have Paul Roberts available after he missed the Fleet clash with a throat infection, while Bash have |injury doubts over Tom Mitchell (calf), Tom Hill (toe) and Taz Roberts (dead leg).
