PAUL Roberts and James Bates both netted twice as Poppies eased into the third round of the Hampshire Senior Cup with a convincing 4-0 win over Hayling United at Victoria Park.
Roberts started the ball rolling with a 25th-minute opener before his second was sandwiched between strikes from substitute Bates in the 67th and 88th minutes.
