MARTIN Lawrence bagged a dramatic extra-time winner as Wessex League Christchurch pulled off a Hampshire Senior Cup second round giant-killing over Eastleigh.
Substitute Lawrence struck a minute into the second period of extra-time to earn Priory a 2-1 victory over the Conference South outfit at Hurn+Bridge">Hurn Bridge.
Earlier, Mark Smith’s 72nd-minute effort had put Christchuch on level terms after Jason Brookes had opened the scoring for the Spitfires in the fifth minute.
Priory boss Graham Kemp said: “We knew this match wasn’t their priority this week and their attentions were probably elsewhere but it was still nice to beat them.”
