BERRANS Park Avenue take over on top of the Premier League after a 2-2 draw with Branksome Railway. Dan Manuel put Railway in front on the hour but Berrans equalised through Mike Gabbey and they then took the lead with a goal from Carlo Tate. However, Railway weren’t finished and Tom Willis earned them a point with an 80th-minute equaliser. Former pacesetters Branksome Conservative went down again when reigning champions Wallisdown Liberal poleaxed them 4-1 with goals from Terry Foote (2), Nick Doe and Martin Da Silva while Paul Manning (2) and Sam Goodwin gave West Moors SSC the edge 3-2 against Foresters Arms who replied through Steve Forster and an own goal. Tailenders Hordle Spurs netted through Paul Conroy (2) and Tom Bawden but Bournemouth Electric had the upper hand 6-3 thanks to Joe Kittle’s hat-trick and further goals from Nathan Geary, Mickey Toy and Charlie Miles.

DIVISION ONE

PETE Valinski and Rodrigo Pons bagged two apiece when leaders Kinson Conservative took Bournemouth Electric Reserves to the cleaners 7-0 with Wayne Fripp, Keiron Mulvey and Alex Grimason also on target. Darby’s Corner remain three points behind with three games in hand after Kieran Campbell and Lee Diaper gave them the verdict 2-1 against Parley Sports but Spire Broadway’s winning run came to an end when Cranleigh upended them 2-1 with goals from Paul Arnold and Steve Miles. Queens Park Rovers remain in contention after Matt Blake steered them to a 1-0 win over Redhill, while Vienna Windows put paid to bottom-placed AFC Bransgore 2-1 with goals from Richard Howard and Lawrence Hunt (pen).

DIVISION TWO

TAILENDERS AFC Leigham Vale led through Jes Pathak against Heritage but Mark Henson spared the leaders’ blushes when he equalised five minutes from time to salvage a 1-1 draw. Despite Ben Bosley’s hat-trick and a goal from Mark Walker, third-placed New Star United went down 6-4 to Branksome Celtic whose goals came courtesy of Trevor Fisher (2), Daniel Wills and a Jordan Harris hat-trick. Christchurch Royals move up to fourth place after tanning Seacliff 5-0 through Ashley Nash, Steve Goodman and a Dan Seymour hat-trick. Littledown led with first half goals from Craig Taylor and Ryan Irvin but Bournemouth Athletic came back after the break with goals from Josh King (2) and Andy Tibbles (pen) to win 3-2.

DIVISION THREE

PRIORY Quays have a commanding nine-point lead after Russell Blandford, Ollie Peckham, and Tom Smith ensured a 3-0 victory over Three Cross. Nearest rivals AFC Burns Lettings netted through Matt Wilcock and Rob Crehan but went down 3-2 against Joscelyne Builders whose goals came via Daniel Gifford, Matt Joscelyne, and an own goal. It was a similar story with Tiegla Tiles who crashed to a second successive defeat when White Heather Hornets stung them 3-2 with goals from Danny Moore (2) and Sam Canty.

DIVISION FOUR

SECOND-placed JS Bournemouth Sports were 3-0 winners against struggling Fernside Sports thanks to Simon Beazley (pen), James Bates and Richard Percy. Neil Sexton struck for Channel Seaways but they had to settle for a 1-1 draw with aspect, while Rec Athletic suffered a setback when Cricketers Arms ambushed them 3-0 with goals from Corin Lambe, Chris Collins and Joe Drennan.

DIVISION FIVE

HIGH flyers AFC Burns Lettings Reserves were held to a 0-0 draw by AFC Stourvale. The result gave Burns one more point than anyone else in the top five as Shoulder of Mutton crashed 4-0 to goals from Mike La Ronde (2), Paul Stanyard and James Edis against Umix, while Rossmore Athletic were beaten 3-0 by Tudor Rose. The Tudor goals came from Nathan Welch (2) and Adam Newman. Ruben Fernandes notched a hat-trick for Magpies and, with Greg Fernandes, Lewis Buckland and Jack Davis also on target, they were 6-3 winners against Hollies United.
