EDDIE Howe is hoping to have completed a double beat-the-transfer-deadline swoop for Weymouth’s Anton Robinson and Salisbury’s Liam Feeney.

The Cherries boss has agreed terms with both players and their respective clubs and is waiting for the Football League to rubber-stamp the signings.

Cherries are subject to a rolling transfer embargo after exiting administration last year and the Football League must clear all transfers.

Midfielder Robinson arrives just days after Weymouth’s prospective new owners Colin Hill and Lee Power blocked his proposed move to Dean Court.

But after the two clubs renegotiated over the weekend, a deal was agreed for Bournemouth-based Robinson to join Cherries for a nominal fee.

And Feeney joins him after Cherries agreed a small fee with Salisbury for the winger. Both players have agreed two-and-a-half year deals.

Howe has also bolstered his resources by extending Rhoys Wiggins’s loan spell from Crystal Palace until the end of the season, also subject to Football League clearance.

Robinson, a box-to-box midfielder, started his career at Millwall before joining the Terras following spells with Fisher Athletic and Exeter City.

The 22-year-old Londoner, who made one first-team appearance for Millwall in the FA Cup, has earned international honours with England C, the country’s non-league national team.

Feeney, meanwhile, has netted twice for Conference strugglers Salisbury this season and also had a brief loan spell with League One outfit Southend.

The 21-year-old, who can operate on the right and the left, made one substitute appearance for the Shrimpers during a 3-0 defeat at Leicester in December.

Feeney joined Salisbury from Hayes and Yeading and went to Southend on loan after a move to Dagenham & Redbridge fell through.
