TYLER Adams has withdrawn from the United States squad for the upcoming international break through injury.

Adams played the full 90 minutes at Aston Villa on Sunday, but he was involved in a nasty collision with Adam Smith early on at Villa Park.

Andoni Iraola was hopeful that there were no concerns for Adams, but the US men’s national team confirmed that he would not join up with Mauricio Pochettino’s side this week for their friendlies against Paraguay and Uruguay.

The midfielder has started every league game so far this season for the Cherries, playing the full 90 minutes in all but three games.

He withdrew himself from the last USMNT squad for the October international break as his wife gave birth.
