CHERRIES’ pre-season friendly against Girona next month now has a new kick-off time.

The La Liga outfit will still head to Vitality Stadium on Saturday, August 10, the final game either will play ahead of their respective league campaigns.

It was originally due to kick-off at 7pm, but that has now been brought forwards to 5.15pm.

The change has been made due to La Liga’s opening weekend schedule now being released.

Girona, set to compete in the Champions League this season, will get their top-flight campaign underway on Thursday, August 15, away at Real Betis.

In order to assist their preparations and ensure an immediate return to Spain after facing Cherries, the Dorset club have accepted Girona’s request to move the game.

Anybody unable to attend at the new time should contact the club’s ticket office.

Cherries begin their Premier League season at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 17.
