ANDONI Iraola hopes Tyler Adams is out for “not too long” with his back injury and confirmed Chris Mepham remains unavailable due to a “health issue”.

Adams has missed most of the season following hamstring surgery, but returned last month, featuring in wins over Luton Town and Everton.

However, the USA international has not played since, Iraola revealing the 25-year-old had woken up on April 4 with “back spasms”.

Asked if the midfielder will be available again soon, having ruled him out of Wednesday night’s trip to  Wolves, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I hope it is not too long.

“But we are leaving today and we arrived (home, from Aston Villa) almost yesterday.

“It is a very short time between games. He is not going to be available.”

Meanwhile, Mepham is also not yet ready to return to action.

The Wales international last played for Cherries in a 2-1 win over Everton on March 30 and has not part of the last four matchday squads.

“He is not with the group,” Iraola confirmed.

“He has a health issue and we are still waiting.”

Romain Faivre, Ryan Fredericks, Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier are also all unavailable for the trip to Molineux.

But Antoine Semenyo, who returned from injury off the bench at Aston Villa on Sunday, could play a more prominent role against Gary O’Neil’s Wolves.

“I hope so,” said Iraola.

“I think he felt quite well, the minutes he had the other day.

“I didn’t want to rush him, like probably we had to do with Sini.

“I think he finished well and I hope he can play at least more minutes.

“I don’t know if all of the game, but at least more minutes, yes.”

Asked if he will look to make changes to freshen up the team given the quick turnaround between two away fixtures, Iraola added: “It is individual decisions. Some of them finished tired the other day. Others I think could play again, even all the game without any problems. We will have to take individual decisions.

“Right now we are quite thin, with players that are not available.

“So we will need everyone, even if they are not ready to start because they are still not fresh enough, we will need them for the end of the game.

“Everyone needs to make an effort, because it is the last week we have with three games.

“It is an important week for us, we want to get more points.

“Two difficult opponents – Wolves away is always difficult and then Brighton the same. I hope we can deal with the week well.”
