CHERRIES are reportedly keeping an eye on young AC Milan defender Jan-Carlo Simic.
That is according to Italian football website Tuttomercato, who claim Fulham also retain an interest.
Simic, 18, has progressed up from the youth ranks into the first team at Milan this season, making six appearances.
Four of those have come in Serie A, where he scored on debut in a 3-0 win over Monza in December.
Simic was born in Germany, but is a Serbia youth international.
The multilingual centre-back started out at the likes of SV Hegnach, Stuttgarter Kickers and VfB Stuttgart, before joining Milan in 2022, for a reported €1million.
Simic’s Milan contract is said to expire in the summer of 2025, with discussions reportedly taking place regarding a potential extension, and a loan elsewhere to get more match minutes.
If no deal can be reached, there are likely to be plenty of suitors for Simic, with Cherries among those mentioned as being interested.
