FORMER Cherry Arnaut Danjuma will miss out on a return to Vitality Stadium as the Everton attacker is still out injured.

Cherries welcome Everton to the south coast tomorrow (3pm) as Premier League football returns from the international break.

Heading into the game 10 points separate Cherries in 13th from Everton in 15th, the Toffees winless in the league since December.

Danjuma, who featured for Cherries 52 times between 2019 and 2021, is currently on loan at Everton from La Liga outfit Villarreal.

However, the Dutch international has been out injured with an ankle issue since the end of January.

Speaking ahead of the game, Everton boss Sean Dyche stated there was little chance of seeing Danjuma on the pitch any time soon.

Dyche began: "Arnie is only just back out on the grass with us.

"He's been on the grass with the medical side and the sports science side getting fit and making sure he's well but literally his first training session was with us - as a group – (was Thursday).

β€œSo, therefore, he's going to need a bit of time to make sure he's right."

CHERRIES TEAM NEWS:

Toffees have other injury concerns, with Lewis Dobbin (ankle) and Dele Alli (groin) also ruled out.

Internationals Seamus Coleman and Idrissa Gana Gueye will be in contention, according to Dyche.

He restarted: "Idrissa played (for Senegal), there was a lot of travelling involved so he's had a quieter day (Thursday) but he's fit.Β

"Seamus is a valuable member of the Club, let alone the squad - what he stands for, he's been exceptional and he still is.

β€œTo get those games (for Ireland) under his belt is very pleasing because the hardest thing when you're coming out of an injury is to get game time.

He's never out of contention as long as he's fit, obviously, and he is fit.”
