MAX Aarons is set to return to the matchday squad when Cherries face Everton next weekend.

The full-back has been out of action since pulling up with a hamstring injury during a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool in January.

It was the second time this season Aarons had been sidelined due to a hamstring issue, in his debut campaign at Cherries since joining from Norwich City last summer.

But the 24-year-old is now back in training and could feature against the Toffees next weekend.

Cherries head coach Andoni Iraola also provided an update on Lloyd Kelly (hip) and Marcos Senesi (hamstring), the latter having withdrawn from the Argentina squad.

Iraola told the Daily Echo: “Max Aarons has been training with us already, so I expect Max to be available against Everton.

“Marcos and Lloyd Kelly haven’t trained with us this week, but we still have another week.

“It is difficult, but at least they can start training partially with the group next week and then we will see from there how they feel.”

Cherries will definitely be without Luis Sinisterra (hamstring) and long-term absentee Ryan Fredericks (calf) when Everton come to Vitality Stadium.
