TYLER Adams helped USA reach the CONCACAF Nations League final with a 3-1 victory over Jamaica.
The Cherries midfielder, recently back from a hamstring injury, started the match on the bench in Texas.
Jamaica, who had Cherries striker Jamal Lowe leading the line, took the lead in the opening minute through Oxford United’s Greg Leigh.
Adams came off the bench around the hour mark for his first international outing since December 2022 and the US eventually levelled the game deep into stoppage time, courtesy of a Cory Burke own goal.
Coventry City’s Haji Wright then put USA ahead six minutes into extra time, before Adams was substituted, as his match minutes continue to be carefully managed.
Wright went on to score again to set up a final showdown with Mexico on Monday (1.15am UK time).
