IN-FORM Dominic Solanke has been left out of the England squad, for the final set of international fixtures before this summer’s European Championship.
Solanke, whose only senior cap came in 2017, had been hoping for a recall after his best ever season of scoring in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old bagged his 17th goal of the campaign across all competitions during last night’s 4-3 win over Luton Town.
He has netted 15 in the top flight, the second highest English scorer behind Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins (16) and just three behind golden boot race leader Erling Haaland.
Watkins has been called up by boss Gareth Southgate, alongside Brentford striker Ivan Toney and captain Harry Kane, who is now plying his trade with Bayern Munich.
England face friendlies against Brazil and Belgium at Wembley over the next fortnight.
England: Johnstone, Pickford, Ramsdale, Branthwaite, Chilwell, Dunk, Gomez, Konsa, Maguire, Stones, Walker, Bellingham, Gallagher, Henderson, Maddison, Rice, Bowen, Foden, Gordon, Kane, Palmer, Rashford, Saka, Toney, Watkins.
