CHERRIES loanee Jack Wadham was the Worthing hero with a stunning late winning goal last night.
The midfielder, who linked up with the National League South outfit in January, let fly from around 25 yards, sending a rising half volley into the top corner.
The 87th-minute strike earned Worthing a 1-0 win at fellow promotion hopefuls Chelmsford City.

The Rebels sit third in the sixth tier, now two points behind Chelmsford and 14 off runaway league leaders Yeovil Town.
Wadham was a mainstay for Cherries’ development squad in the first half of this season under Alan Connell, during the club’s impressive unbeaten run.
The 20-year-old, who joined Cherries’ academy a decade ago, signed his first professional contract at the Dorset club in the summer of 2022.
He previously had a loan spell with Dorchester Town.

It continues a good few days for Cherries’ contingent of loanees.
Gavin Kilkenny scored the first goal of his professional career, helping Fleetwood Town to an impressive 4-2 win over Wigan Athletic in League One.
The Irishman’s performance also saw him named in the Football League Paper’s third tier team of the week.
Meanwhile, both David Brooks and Kieffer Moore were listed in the WhoScored Championship team of the week after goals for Southampton and Ipswich Town respectively at the weekend.
