CHERRIES defender Lloyd Kelly is set to have an MRI scan over a hip complaint, according to head coach Andoni Iraola.
Kelly was absent as Cherries narrowly lost 1-0 at home to Manchester City on Saturday evening.
Iraola explained that the defender had dropped out of training with a hip issue, but was unsure over the severity of the injury.
Iraola told the Daily Echo: “He didn't feel well yesterday.
“I think he has something in the hip flexor.
“Probably a strain. We have to assess him and see how serious it is and when he will be able to help us again.”
Asked if any Cherries would return from injury for the Leicester game on Tuesday, Iraola continued: “I will have to check with Kelly because, he hasn't had the MRI still, and he felt something in the hip.
“It's a strange area we'll see, we don't know still.
“I don't think we will recover anyone else now.”
