POOLE Town’s home fixture with Winchester City will need rearranging once again after a waterlogged pitch caused a postponement.

Dolphins were set to welcome Winchester back to Tatnam Farm this evening after the original contest in December had been abandoned with scores locked at 1-1 in the second half due to the floodlights cutting out.

But following heavy rain over the weekend, Poole’s pitch has not recovered enough to stage the contest.

Dolphins are currently on a run of six-straight losses, their worst run of form in almost three decades.

Poole return to action on Saturday, when they travel to league leaders Chesham United (3pm).
