DETAILS for tomorrow night’s Premier League Cup clash for Cherries’ development squad have been confirmed, with Alan Connell’s young charges set to travel to Eastleigh’s Silverlake Stadium to face Leeds United.

Young Cherries will face Category One opposition at Eastleigh on Friday, February 16 with kick-off slated for 7pm.

Cherries were awarded home advantage for the round of 16 tie courtesy of topping their pool, finishing Group C with 16 points out of a possible 18.

Out of the 32 teams who entered the competition at the group stage, Cherries’ unbeaten record was the best, joining Chelsea and Aston Villa as the only sides to avoid defeat.

Leeds finished second, behind Chelsea, to advance to the last 16.

Entry for the tie will be free for supporters.

The development squad’s last fixture at Eastleigh was a 5-1 romp over Wolverhampton Wanderers in January.
