CHERRIES have confirmed the permanent signing of Luis Sinisterra from Leeds United.
The Colombian winger initially joined Cherries on a loan basis in August from Championship side Leeds, with an option for the deal to become permanent at the end of season.
However, Cherries have expedited the process, reaching and agreement with the Whites for Sinisterra to become a full-time member of the playing squad at Vitality Stadium, effective immediately.
Cherries chief executive Neill Blake shared: “Luis has shown his considerable quality on the pitch and he’s a popular member of the dressing room.
“We believe he’s only going to get better, and we’re excited to continue to work with him on a long-term basis.”
Since joining Cherries, Sinisterra has made 17 appearances, scoring four times.
Speaking about his move, Sinisterra commented: “I’m really happy to make this move. I’m excited to play for Bournemouth for the long term.
“I feel really comfortable here and the fans are really nice. When I meet them in the streets, they show the love.
“I’m really happy here and I’ve settled really well; I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.”
