ANDONI Iraola played down any fears Lloyd Kelly had suffered another injury, insisting his withdrawal at the London Stadium was due to “cramps”.
Kelly, who has had two spells out this season with muscular injuries, received treatment before being substituted on 78 minutes during the 1-1 draw with West Ham United and replaced by Milos Kerkez.
Earlier in the contest, Kelly, playing at left-back, had conceded a penalty for a trip on pacy Mohammed Kudus.
Asked if the 25-year-old had suffered another injury, head coach Iraola told the Daily Echo: “No, they were just tired cramps.
“I think it was quite a demanding game for him, especially with Kudus and sometimes (Jarrod) Bowen.
“We had a lot of challenges there and it was just a matter of cramps. That is something normal.”
Cherries return to action on Sunday, welcoming Nottingham Forest to Vitality Stadium (2pm).
