KIEFFER Moore has returned to his former side Ipswich Town on loan until the end of the campaign.

A deadline day signing in January 2022, Moore went on to make 46 appearances for Cherries, scoring 10 times, including his now iconic match-winner against Nottingham Forest that sealed promotion to back to the Premier League.

However, following promotion, Moore has struggled for regular game time, with just 12 starts in 35 Premier League games.

This season, Moore has not started a Premier League fixture under Andoni Iraola, leading to speculation around his future.

Moore almost left Cherries on loan in the last transfer window, with a move to Millwall breaking down on deadline day in August.

This window’s deal hinged on Cherries’ replacing Moore with Enes Unal from Getafe, the Turkish international joining on an initial loan with an obligation for the move to turn permanent based on certain conditions.

Ipswich and Moore will be hoping his second stint with the Tractor Boys is more productive than his first.

The striker scored no goals in 11 appearances off the bench after joining from Forest Green Rovers for £10,000 in January 2017.

However, in 155 games in England’s second tier, Moore has scored 47 times, with Ipswich hoping his goals can fire them to the Premier League.

The Tractor Boys are currently second in the Championship, with 59 points from 28 games.
