CHERRIES stalwart Adam Smith will be a part of the squad for Thursday’s trip to West Ham United, but head coach Andoni Iraola is unsure at “what level” the right-back will be for the fixture.

The full-back positions have been an issue for Cherries in recent months, with Smith missing the last three fixtures after picking up an injury in the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of December.

Although left-backs Lloyd Kelly and Milos Kerkez have returned from injury, Cherries will definitely be without right-backs James Hill, Ryan Fredericks, and Max Aarons.

Discussing injury news ahead of the game, Iraola shared: “Adam Smith will be a part of the squad. He has trained today.

“I do not know what level, but he is available for us and we can use him more or less.

Hill will be out for at least six weeks, with Iraola adding: "It’s a tough one with Hilly.

"It’s not going to be a light one.

"Six weeks, I would say. I don’t know. Knowing Hilly, if he can do it in four, he will do it!"

Philip Billing, who missed the FA Cup win over Swansea City, is available again for selection.

Antoine Semenyo, who was on the bench for the Swansea game, could be utilised, but Thursday comes too soon for Dango Ouattara.

The Burkinabe is still travelling back from AFCON duty with his country.

"Antoine has been training with us as normal and we didn’t want to use him in the FA Cup," he continued.

"He’d just landed without sleeping, he was available if we needed him for a short period but lucky for us that wasn’t necessary – he’s ready to go.

"Dango Ouattara is different, I hope he is available for the next game, it is really tough as there are two to three days between games.

"He has recovered pretty fast from his injury at the African Cup but I hope he comes back and is fully fit and available."
