CHERRIES boss Andoni Iraola listed Liverpool as one of the best teams his side have faced this season, hailing their clinical nature.

After a tight first-half at Vitality Stadium saw Cherries and Liverpool locked at 0-0 heading into the break, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds eventually cruised to a 4-0 win with some incisive attacking play.

It is the third time Liverpool have got the better of Cherries this campaign, winning the reverse fixture 3-1 at Anfield back in August as well as coming out on top of an EFL Cup tie at Dean Court 2-1 winners in November.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Iraola shared: “I think Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been really good against us.

“There’s a reason they are the top three teams.

“Whenever they have a chance, they are clinical and when you make a mistake, they make you pay for it.”

Cherries remain 12th in the Premier League table, with 25 points from 20 games. Liverpool sit atop of the division, with 48 points from 21 games. Klopp’s side are five points clear of second-placed Manchester City, who enjoy a game in hand over Liverpool.

The third side mentioned by Iraola, Arsenal, are currently placed in third.
