INJURED defender Owen Bevan has returned to Cherries from his loan spell at Cheltenham Town.
Bevan joined the League One Robins on a season-long deal in August and impressed, making 14 appearances.
But the Wales under-21 international has been ruled out for around a month, due to a thigh injury.
As a result, Cheltenham have decided to cut short Bevan’s loan spell, allowing him to continue his recovery at Cherries.
The 20-year-old, who has made two competitive appearances for Cherries, may return to Gloucestershire later in the transfer window, depending on his fitness.
The Robins endured a wretched start to the campaign, which led to former Cherries winger Wade Elliott being sacked as boss and replaced by Darrell Clarke.
Posting on X, Bevan wrote: “Loved my time at Cheltenham Town. Thanks to all the players, staff and fans for everything.”
