ANDONI Iraola says he “did not like the experience” of watching Cherries from the stands as he served a one-match touchline ban.

Unable to be in the dugout courtesy of picking up his third yellow card of the season on Saturday, Iraola watched on as his side eased to a 3-0 victory over Fulham at Vitality Stadium.

Justin Kluivert broke the deadlock, before a Dominic Solanke penalty doubled the tally.

Luis Sinisterra’s stunning strike then sealed the win late on.

Asked if he enjoyed the game from outside the hospitality boxes, Iraola said: “I prefer to be on the bench.

“I will try to improve my behaviour, not to raise the hands and try to control it a little bit more, because I did not like the experience.

“Although, maybe they don’t need me so much, they did very well!”

He added: “I didn’t enjoy it a lot until maybe the last minute once Sini scored the third one and then you realise it looks like we are going to win the game.

“Until the last goal, we were still suffering. You always suffer, especially against teams like Fulham, because they have great quality.

“They score one and then you can get in trouble.”
