BOSS Andoni Iraola was left “really happy” with Dominic Solanke after Saturday’s 3-0 win at Old Trafford, describing the striker’s display as “dangerous”.

Solanke set Cherries on their way to a memorable victory over Manchester United, neatly slotting home inside five minutes.

The 26-year-old then struck the post and also played a key role in Philip Billing doubling the lead in the second half, as well as putting in a big effort off the ball.

Discussing the forward’s eye-catching performance, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think he is really complete.

“He helps us without the ball and on the ball.

“He is good technically, to play with his feet. He uses his body well.

“If they leave him space at the back, he can also exploit it.

“He had his chances. He scored, he hit the post. I think he was really dangerous.

“He helped his teammates a lot. I am really happy with him.”

Solanke is enjoying his best goalscoring season in the Premier League, having now notched eight times in 16 top-flight appearances this term.

He will hope to continue his fine form when Luton Town visit Vitality Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
