IT IS time for the final set of international fixtures for this calendar year, with plenty of Cherries players again heading off on duty.

The Wales squad again boasts three players from Cherries, as they prepare for two crucial Euro 2024 qualifiers.

Rob Page’s men must beat both Armenia (November 18) and Turkey (Nov 21) to keep matters in their own hands and ensure qualification for next year’s finals.

Kieffer Moore is the top scorer in the Wales squad, with 12 goals from his 37 appearances.

Chris Mepham is rapidly closing in on reaching 50 caps, while David Brooks enjoyed a good camp in October.

Another nation looking to clinch their spot this month is Romania. Goalkeeper Andrei Radu has earned a recall to the squad after his recent run in Cherries’ starting XI.

They currently top Group I ahead of games against Israel (Nov 18) and Switzerland (Nov 21).

Illia Zabarnyi is gearing up for a crunch qualifier for Ukraine against Italy next Monday in Leverkusen, in a winner-takes-all clash for qualification alongside England in Group C.

Hungary are on the brink of sealing their spot in Germany next year, rounding off their campaign against Bulgaria (Nov 16) and Montenegro (Nov 19), with Milos Kerkez again part of the squad.

Mark Travers will be hoping to get a chance to add to his three caps for Republic of Ireland, in a group dead rubber against Netherlands (Nov 18) before a friendly against New Zealand in Dublin (Nov 21).

Ryan Christie and Scotland have already qualified, but will be looking to secure top spot with positive results against Georgia (Nov 16) and Norway (Nov 19).

Meanwhile, World Cup qualifiers are getting underway in Africa.

Dango Ouattara is part of the Burkina Faso squad who face Guinea-Bissau (Nov 17) and Ethiopia (Nov 21).

Ghana are also in action with Antoine Semenyo called up for fixtures against Madagascar (Nov 17) and Comoros (Nov 21).

Hamed Traore will hope to feature for Ivory Coast in qualifiers against Seychelles (Nov 17) and Gambia (Nov 20).

The World Cup is also on the agenda for Luis Sinisterra. Colombia host Brazil (Nov 17), before a trip to Paraguay (Nov 21).

Owen Bevan, currently on loan at Cheltenham Town, has again been selected for Wales under-21s.

They face Euro qualifiers against Iceland (Nov 16) and Denmark (Nov 20).
