CHERRIES will be without captain Neto for Burnley’s visit to the Vitality this weekend, with the Brazilian set to be replaced in goal by Andrei Radu.

Neto sustained an ankle injury during training, with his head coach stating that he is now likely to miss Cherries’ next four fixtures.

Whilst Radu has made two appearances in the EFL Cup, Neto has started all nine of Cherries’ Premier League fixtures.

Speaking about the skipper’s injury, Iraola commented: “Probably from past week, we are going to lose Neto.

“He has been injured this week.

“It was an ankle injury, two, three days ago.

“He will be out I think at least until the international break for sure.

“And if everything goes well probably after the break he can be again with the team here.”

Asked by the Daily Echo whether he would turn to Radu or back-up goalie Darren Randolph, Iraola emphatically replied: “Tomorrow, (Andrei) Radu will play for sure.

“I think he has played two games in the (EFL) Cup, and I think he has the experience in other leagues.

“We hope he has a good performance and we have don't have any doubt.

“You never know how anyone is going to play.

“But I think he has the level and I hope he shows it.”
