CHERRIES boss Andoni Iraola said “it’s not easy” during the international break with large swathes of his squad away on duty with their countries.

The second international break of the season is well underway, with a whole host of Cherries representing their countries.

With injuries also limiting Iraola’s available players, the Basque boss shared how difficult it was to train as normal.

However, the former Rayo Vallecano man stressed that he was able to focus on individuals during the break.

He told the Daily Echo: “It's not easy because it's true that last break I think we had like nine players, something like this.

“We were training with eight or nine players.

“So you can focus more on individual stuff, individual details from each position, but not to work in something more collective because at the end sometimes even in some positions, you don't have players.

“So imagine we don't have Milos (Kerkez) so we probably we don't have anyone to work on the left side or whatever.

“But it's a good moment to improve the individual stuff from the players that stay here.”

Cherries’ first game after the international break sees the return of former boss Gary O’Neil.

O’Neil’s Wolves side visit Vitality Stadium on Saturday, October 21 (3pm).
