STALWART Adam Smith has been handed a first league start of the season as Cherries travel to Everton in the Premier League.
He replaces Max Aarons at right-back, whilst Justin Kluivert is replaced by Dango Ouattara on the wing.
The right-back’s last Premier League start coincidentally came at Goodison Park, Smith playing in Cherries’ 1-0 defeat away at Everton in the final game of last season.
Smith missed Cherries’ first four games of the season due to a muscle injury, with his first inclusion in a matchday squad under Andoni Iraola coming at Brentford at the start of September.
The 32-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Cherries’ 2-0 win over Stoke City in the second round of the EFL Cup, before making his first league appearance off the bench last time out, playing the final seven minutes of Cherries’ 4-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Cherries: Neto; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Billing, Cook, Christie; Tavernier, Ouattara, Solanke.
Subs: Radu (g/k), Aarons, Rothwell, Traore, Kluivert, Brooks, Sinisterra, Moore, Semenyo.
