CHERRIES head coach Andoni Iraola believes his side have “reset” following their heavy defeat at the hands of Arsenal at the weekend.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners inflicted a 4-0 loss on Cherries at their Vitality Stadium home last time out, Iraola’s heaviest defeat since his appointment in June.
The result also extended Cherries’ run of seven Premier League games without a win to start the season, their last victory in the competition now 11 games and six months ago.
Cherries now face Everton in their final game prior to the international break, Iraola’s charges travelling to Merseyside for Saturday’s game at Goodison Park (3pm).
Asked how his side reacted to the loss, Iraola responded: “I think we talked after the game because obviously you can lose against Arsenal, we lost some games before, but I was really happy from the first six games we played in the league with our things, but I was happy.
“But the other day I think we played properly for 20 minutes and after this 20 minutes we conceded the goal and we started not pushing with the same intensity.
“And that's not what we want to be.
“So I think we reset.
“We've trained really well this week and I hope tomorrow we have a good performance.”
