HEAD coach Andoni Iraola says Cherries are “working on” extending contracts for certain players, adding: “I think the club is managing these situations well.”
It is understood six members of Cherries’ first team squad have entered the final year of their current deals.
They include key duo Ryan Christie and Lloyd Kelly, stalwart Adam Smith and fringe trio Ryan Fredericks, Emiliano Marcondes and Darren Randolph.
Philip Billing’s deal was also set to expire in the summer of 2024, but he recently penned a contract extension, as did striker Dominic Solanke.
Asked specifically about Kelly and how big a priority it was to tie the 24-year-old down to a new deal, Iraola told the Daily Echo: “I think the club is managing these situations well.
“We can see with Philip, with Dom, now I think they are working on different deals with the players.”
