CHERRIES’ reward for beating Stoke City in the Carabao Cup this evening is a fourth round tie against Liverpool.
Goals from Dominic Solanke and Joe Rothwell secured a 2-0 victory over the Potters at Vitality Stadium, having dispatched of Swansea City in round two.
Andoni Iraola’s men will now face Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in round four at Vitality Stadium.
Liverpool came from behind to beat Leicester City 3-1 in the third round this evening, with goals from Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Diogo Jota.
Cherries against Liverpool is one of four all-Premier League round four ties.
The draw was conducted live on Sky Sports by Neil Lennon and Don Goodman.
Under Gary O'Neil, Cherries beat Liverpool 1-0 in the league at Vitality Stadium last season.
The ties are due to take place in the week commencing October 30.
For Cherries, that falls between Premier League matches at home against Burnley (October 28) and away to Manchester City (November 4).
