POOLE Town will visit divisional rivals Bracknell Town in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Dolphins secured their place in the third qualifying round by defeating Horndean 3-0 away from home, having beaten Barnstaple Town by the same scoreline in the first qualifying round.
Bracknell defeated fellow Southern League Premier South outfit Harrow Borough 2-0 away from home to start their cup run, before performing an upset to beat National South side Havant & Waterlooville at their Bottom Meadow home.
The two sides have met once before in the FA Cup, Poole running out 5-1 winners away at Bracknell in the preliminary round of the 1980-81 competition.
Poole last reached the third qualifying round in 2019, when they defeated Tooting & Mitchem 2-0 away from home.
They were then defeated by Hayes & Yeading in the fourth qualifying round in a tie that went to a replay and extra time.
The tie is set to be staged on Saturday, September 30, with the possibility of a replay at Tatnam Farm the following midweek if scores are level after 90 minutes.
Victorious sides will earn £5,625, whilst clubs knocked out at this round will be awarded £1,875 for their troubles.
Poole’s league clash at home to Salisbury will now be rearranged.
