MILOS Kerkez already feels like a part of the furniture at Cherries – saying how others have told him it was like he had been at Vitality Stadium for “four or five years already".

The Hungarian international arrived on the south coast in the summer from Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar for a fee reportedly around £15.5million, Cherries fending off interest from Italian giants Lazio to secure the teenager’s signature.

Asked for his thoughts on his new surroundings, Kerkez replied: “It's really nice.

“Nice, calm town and it's good to be on the on the beach a little bit also.

“But I like it here. It's like I say, it's nice.

“And of course with the new boss that we have here, and the new philosophy was also a big impact for me to come here.”

Kerkez is quickly becoming a fan favourite for his passionate displays on the pitch, but off of it he is quickly becoming a key part of the Cherries changing room thanks to his infectious personality.

“I mean, the guys welcome me really well,” continued the Serbian-born Hungary international.

“So like they say, they feel like I'm here for four or five years already.

“It’s nice. They welcome me really well, everyone in the club. So I felt really welcomed.

“And it's just my character. I'm free.”

Kerkez and co. return to Premier League action tomorrow afternoon (2pm), when they welcome Chelsea to Dean Court.
