NEITHER Alex Scott nor Tyler Adams are likely to be fit in time to face Chelsea after the international break, boss Andoni Iraola confirmed.
The talented midfield duo arrived at the club over the summer for almost £50million combined.
However, both are currently nursing injuries.
Scott suffered a knee problem shortly before his switch from Bristol City, while USA international Adams missed the end of last season with Leeds United due to a hamstring issue.
Asked if he expects to have either available after the international break, when Cherries host Chelsea on September 17, Iraola said: “No. Alex Scott is far from playing.
“His injury is more lengthy, it will take more time.
“And Tyler, I think he’s closer than Alex Scott. But I see it difficult that he is ready for the Chelsea game.”
Dango Ouattara, Ryan Fredericks and Emiliano Marcondes are also still out injured.
