CHERRIES failed with a deadline day move for Patson Daka of Leicester City.

The striker looked set to sign for the club on loan, with an option for the move to turn permanent next summer.

Daka, 24, joined Leicester from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2021 after a prolific spell in Austria.

The Zambia international has played 74 times for the Foxes, scoring 15 goals. He has not featured this season, since the club's relegation from the Premier League.

But Cherries could not get a deal over the line, despite seemingly agreeing terms with the Foxes.
