CHERRIES could be bolstered by the return of Lloyd Kelly for the trip to Liverpool this weekend.

The club’s former captain picked up an injury during pre-season and has not featured since the final day of last season at Everton.

Cherries still have a lengthy injury list, but that looks set to become one lighter for Saturday’s game at Anfield (3pm).

Asked for an update on his injured players, Iraola said: “We have the same injuries we had in the past week.

“Probably the only one we can recover is Lloyd Kelly, who has started training with the group in the last three or four sessions.

“Probably if he feels good today, he can travel with the team. But the rest continues the same.”

Iraola was pressed further for news on Lewis Cook and Dango Ouattara, who missed out against West Ham United last weekend, as well as Marcos Senesi who came off injured.

“Dango will be injured for more weeks,” confirmed Iraola.

“He was still in a boot, so we are not expecting him playing early.

“Lewis we are going to go more week-to-week let’s say. But he’s not ready for sure for tomorrow. He hasn’t been training with the team.

“Marcos has been training well. I think he just cramped, the first game of the season. The same happened to Max (Aarons).

“It was also quite normal in his case, but they are not injured.”

As well as Ouattara and Cook, Cherries are set to be without Adam Smith, Ryan Fredericks, Marcus Tavernier, Emiliano Marcondes and Alex Scott this weekend due to longer term injuries.
